What a treat it was to stumble upon your website! Keeping Barney has been my absolute favorite book since I was a child, even now, in my twenties, I pick it up about twice a year (or more) and re-read it, even though I practically know it by heart, just to experience the excitement I still feel every time I open the cover and slip into the chilly Vermont twilight as Sarah struggles to ask her parents about Barney. That being said, my copy is quite old and tattered - one I actually bought from a used bookstore, and it was while searching online for a new copy that I came across your website! Even if you have no more copies left (although I truly hope you do) it means so much to me that I am able to actually email you - silly though it may sound, Keeping Barney was a very influential book in my life as a child - it is the book that made me start to love reading (something I am still passionate about) and also has inspired me to write a few things of my own. Whenever I need to escape and forget about grown up things like bills and social obligations, Keeping Barney takes me there. It has been and will always be my favorite book! I truly hope you have a copy I could purchase - if so, please just let me know where I should send a check.
